WELLWARD PRIVACY POLICY

THE SHORT VERSION
Wellward does not collect your data. There is no account, no server,
and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your device.
WHAT WELLWARD STORES, AND WHERE
Your habits, routines, history, settings, rewards, and companion are
saved locally on your device. This information is never transmitted
anywhere. It is not backed up to me, it does not sync between devices,
and there is no way for me or anyone else to view it.
Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app deletes
your history along with it. You can export a copy at any time from
Settings, Your Data, Export.
WHAT WELLWARD DOES NOT DO
Wellward contains no analytics, no usage tracking, no advertising, no
advertising identifiers, and no third party software development kits
that collect information. It does not report crashes off your device.
It makes no network requests at all.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled and delivered by your own
device. The reminder text and timing never leave your phone.
PURCHASES
Any in app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Apple handles
payment and receipt information under its own privacy policy. I never
see or receive your payment details.
FEEDBACK AND EMAIL
If you tap Send feedback in the app, your device opens your own mail
app with my address filled in. Nothing about you or your data is
attached, and nothing is sent unless you write the message and send it
yourself.
If you email me, I will have whatever you chose to include in that
email, such as your email address and anything you describe. I use it
only to reply to you and to fix the problem you reported. I do not add
you to any mailing list and I do not share it with anyone.
CHILDREN
Wellward is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13.
Because the app collects no information from anyone, no information
about any user is gathered regardless of age.
YOUR RIGHTS
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to
access, correct, or delete personal information a company holds about
you. I hold none. Your data is on your device and under your control,
so you can view, change, export, or delete it yourself at any time
without asking me.
If you have emailed me and want that correspondence deleted, write to
the address below and I will delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page
with a new date. If a future version of Wellward ever collects data,
this policy and the app's App Store privacy label will both be updated
before that version is released.
